Collection: Adult Workshops

 

Private group workshops are offered in a variety of mediums and can be tailored to the needs and interests of your group. These classes are great for business team building.

Birthdays, girls get togethers, special events or rites of passage are all perfect excuses for a workshop at Art Hideaway and can be tailored to the group.

Our workshops focus on wellbeing, self care, nourishment of the creative spirit as well as fun and skill building. 

Workshops are charged per person attending and can booked for a maximum of 8 people at a time. All good quality art materials are included.

If you choose a clay workshop the price is higher just because it takes into account a bisque firing, my time glazing and cost of the glazes, and then a second firing for the glazes. We have our own glaze library and kiln at Art Hideaway. All clay makers who attend a workshop at Art Hideaway will have the opportunity to choose their glazes from our glaze library . All finished pieces are ready to be collected approximately 2 weeks after the workshop. All clay pieces made will be fired to stoneware temperature of 1260 degrees. The finished clay pieces will be both dishwasher and food safe.

Adult classes in watercolour, sketching, portrait and landscape painting, as well as abstract art workshops are all offered at Art Hideaway.
