Art Hideaway is a nurturing and supportive creative space where budding artists can enjoy the peaceful environment of a beautiful garden in a quiet and artistic setting.
Is your child a little creative being and can’t get enough of art class at school? At Art Hideaway we absolutely love teaching art and inspiring kids to explore their creativity. We teach about the art elements and principles through looking at various contemporary and historical artists. Students explore different mediums, as well as a new artist or art technique each week. Watercolour, pastels, fineliners and textas, pencils, charcoal, and clay are some examples of the mediums the kiddos get to explore. The classes have a focus on exploration, play and creativity. Please get in touch if you think this is something your child would love.
Are you a business looking for a fun, creative and well being focused team building workshop?
Or perhaps you are looking to get a few friends together for a relaxing, therapeutic well-being focused workshop?
We would love to tailor a workshop to your goals, interests and inspirations.
School holiday programs

Painting Workshops – Kiddos explore acrylic and watercolour painting. We explore art elements like colour and shape, as well as learn about a famous painter. We explore the artwork of various artists and use them as inpiration in our own art making.
Clay workshops! Everyone loves clay day!! Kids learn handbuilding skills to create their own animal influenced flower or succulent planter pot!! Kids use terracotta or white clay. Both coil pot and pinch pot techniques are learnt. Pieces are fired by me and returned to students at a later date.
Drawing Workshops – Tone and shading techniques are explored, as well as pattern and line. Kids will learn to use charcoal and grey leads, sharpies and textas to create their own awesome artworks! Artists like Paul Cezanne, David Hockney, Dale Frank are examples of our influences and inspiration.
Please note – booking refunds/exchanges or swap of days for workshops are not available. If your child can’t attend the class, let us know and you are welcome to send another child in their place. Thanks so much!
